Cloud Student Homes faced significant challenges in improving fire safety at Jubilee Court, a multi-block student accommodation in Preston housing 241 residents.
Endeavour Group conducted a range of comprehensive surveys to assess the building’s weaknesses and prioritise critical interventions. Upgrades included designing and installing intumescent collars on ventilation systems, improving fire-stopping measures, and enhancing compartmentation to contain fire and smoke effectively. Fire drills were also conducted to familiarise residents with evacuation protocols and improve overall preparedness.
In addition to immediate upgrades, Endeavour developed a long-term safety strategy to ensure the residents safety remained a key client focus. Close collaboration with Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service and Cloud Student Homes ensured the strategy was both practical and effective.
