When inspections at Kentish House revealed recurring faults in its outdated fire alarm system, the risks to residents became evident.
The limited coverage and unreliable detection raised serious safety concerns, prompting building management to enlist Endeavour Group to deliver a future-proof fire safety solution.
Endeavour began by conducting a comprehensive assessment of the building’s needs, identifying weaknesses in the existing system. Using these insights, the team designed and implemented a modern addressable fire alarm system tailored to the building’s unique requirements.
The new system ensures precise zone-based detection, enabling faster and more accurate responses during emergencies. It was installed in full compliance with BS 5839-1-2017 standards, with alarms strategically integrated into the building’s evacuation routes to enhance safety.
Throughout the project, Endeavour prioritised clear communication with the management team to minimise disruption for residents. Regular updates were provided to keep all stakeholders informed and to reassure residents that their safety was the top priority.
The completion of the project has restored confidence in Kentish House’s safety measures and Endeavour Group’s commitment to combining technical excellence with practical considerations has resulted in a safer, more secure living environment for residents.
