The Level 5 Diploma in Fire Safety and Risk Management is designed for those responsible for fire risk assessments across a range of properties.

Cost

The Level 5 Diploma costs £1,915 plus VAT, and it includes 12 months of unlimited support from our safety assessment team.

Overview

Combining fire risk assessment practices with an introduction to fire engineering principles, the qualification includes the new Fire Safety Act 2021. It is the highest level available in fire risk management, created directly by us.

It’s awarded by ProQual and regulated by Ofqual.

To enrol, you must be employed in a role that involves fire risk assessments and be able to access supporting evidence, with basic fire risk assessment training advised. You must demonstrate your skills, knowledge and experience by completing a pre-registration questionnaire.

Mandatory Units:

  • Review fire safety matters to ensure compliance
  • Assess arrangements for warning and escape
  • Identify, assess and control fire hazards
  • Ensure active fire protection provisions are in place
  • Assess arrangements to prevent fire spread
  • Manage fire safety in residential settings

You’ll complete a personal portfolio demonstrating your understanding and application of the standards at this level.
