James Doyle CMIOSH, MIFireE – Director

James is highly focussed and experienced risk management professional specialising in process safety and fire engineering. With over two decades of experience in highly hazardous industries, he has a proven track record in improving safety performance, problem solving and implementing cultural change.

During a notable offshore oil and gas career James has held numerous roles as a subject matter expert covering both process and fire safety engineering. Throughout his career he has attained recognition for various projects and campaigns leading to notoriety with external regulators. Regularly attending the International Fire Training Centre for intensive fire leadership training plus completing overall emergency command and control assessments spanning over ten years. Offshore career highlights include assignment to the recognised ‘Piper Bravo’ production platform and development of a cumulative risk management strategy for Maersk.

James has additionally been an integral part of the British Safety Council since 2013, providing support in numerous areas including managing the technical running of the NVQ programme, auditing and moderating exams. Proudly accepting a position on adjudicating panel for the prestigious BSC International Safety Awards on several occasions.

As the director of Endeavour Safety Services, he continues to provide consultancy and training within the safety and fire sectors. The company is an approved training centre delivering a range of vocational training in safety and fire topics. James is the author of the Level 5 Diploma in Fire Safety and Risk Management and has technically advised on the creation of the Level 2 Award in Rainscreen Cladding Installation.

James continues to progress his professional development with both the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) where he attains membership at a credible level.

Kerry Doyle – Operations Manager

Since leaving school Kerry has worked at a high level in clerical and administrative services in various roles. More notably, Kerry was a PA to the Associate Director of Nursing, Modern Matron and the Head of Psychology within the NHS. Kerry also has some experience in training and development covering qualification registration, standardisation and invigilation during her time employed at BPP Professional Education.

Kerry spent some GAP years out running several successful businesses’ involving animals which are her passion. However, due to the continued success of Endeavour Safety Services she has made a focused effort towards the company. Each year since starting Kerry has begun providing more and more support until in 2019 she made the decision to become the Operations Manager on a full time basis.

Harry Storrow – Lead Internal Quality Assurer

Harry supports the Endeavour Safety Services team with all aspects of quality assurance and engineering. He brings over 20 years of experience specifically in quality management and competence assurance. His practical experience in high hazard industries, such as the railway sector makes him a vital part of the team.

As a dedicated Health and safety professional he has an in-depth range of knowledge which enables him to support clients to a high level. In his role as an Internal Quality Assurer he applies a stringent criterion to assessment delivery which helps the centre achieve best practice standards.

Richy Harrington – Fire Safety and Facilities Co-Ordinator 

Richy Harrington plays a key role for the Endeavour Group as the Fire Safety and Facilities Co-Ordinator,

He began his career studying motor vehicle engineering before joining the Merchant navy where he held various roles within the Deck and Engineering departments on a very varied range of vessels including Dive Support and deep-sea salvage. His experience also led to him working alongside the Royal Navy on the Royal Fleet Auxiliary Supply ships in the Persian Gulf and Croatia.

More recently he held managerial roles within the offshore Oil and Gas Industry for Large Multinational companies, with main responsibilities being the supply and Co-Ordination of maintenance support activities and marine logistics. Additionally, holding the role of UK Technical Authority for Lifting and mechanical handling.

Throughout a wide-ranging career, he has been involved in vocational assessment and training alongside developing apprenticeship and training schemes for the ECITB-OPITO along with various engineering service companies. He also supports the Endeavour Group as an Assessor and IQA for various qualifications.
Richy holds a range of professional qualifications including Level 5 Diploma in Fire Safety and Fire Risk management, Level 3 Internal Quality Assurance and Assessment in the workplace, City and Guilds MV Engineering and IOSH Managing Safely Certification to name a few.

His spare time is taken up with restoring Classic Cars, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Golf and spending time with his wife and family.

Molly Doyle – Fire Protection Design Assistant   

Molly is currently an architecture student at Liverpool John Moores University. With a background in graphic design and illustration, she has been able to develop skills in technical drawings, which are used to improve visual representation in fire risk assessments completed for Endeavour Group. Molly also contributes to our qualified learning centre, organising learners’ information and progress for our systems.

Tim Crowther – Maintenance Supervisor  

Elliot Doyle – Firestopping Trainee

Elliot is a student at Runshaw College, studying Design Engineering. Whilst completing his studies, he is training to be a qualified fire stopper through the Endeavour Training Centre.
